Job summary

McCarthy Stone is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents at Gentian Place Development in Aylesbury. This on-site role offers a part-time schedule of 20 hours per week with shifts including early/late and alternate weekends.

You will help residents with daily tasks and social activities, ensuring comfort and independence. Qualifying candidates typically have 1+ year UK health and social care experience; Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in UK health and social care is preferred.
• Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily domestic tasks such as appointments, light cleaning, laundry and shopping.
• Assist with social activities and wellbeing routines.
• Promote independence, dignity and community engagement.
• Support with individual care packages.
