Additional Resources Ltd. is seeking an Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join an independent accountancy and tax practice, supporting businesses and individuals with accounts, taxation, VAT and bookkeeping services.

This full-time on-site role involves day-to-day bookkeeping, maintaining accurate records and assisting with VAT returns and reconciliations. The salary is £25,000 - £28,000 with study support.

Qualifications

• Experience as Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper or similar role.
• Approximately 2 years in accounting/bookkeeping.
• Experience with bookkeeping, VAT returns and bank reconciliations.
• Experience maintaining accurate financial records.
• Proficient with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational ability.
• Currently studying towards or progressed in AAT qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with VAT reconciliations.
• Assist with VAT returns and bank reconciliations as required.
