Job Summary

As an Onsite Account Manager, you will take full ownership of a well‑established contract, ensuring a high‑quality, consistent service that meets client requirements and achieves KPIs and SLAs. The role involves managing a team, maintaining client relationships, and delivering operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the whole contract from recruitment to operational delivery.
  • Achieve KPIs and manage performance reviews, target setting, motivation and development of the team.
  • Oversee and manage the daily implementation of the operational plan.
  • Regularly update the regional manager with risks and potential opportunities.
  • Build strong client relationships and create a positive perception of Winner Recruitment.
  • Fully understand client requirements and ensure consistent fulfilment.
  • Recruit drivers and warehouse colleagues to meet client needs.
  • Plan and organise assessment and induction processes for all workers.
  • Ensure overall site compliance, contingency planning and accurate accident reporting.
  • Manage worker issues: absence, pay queries, performance, retention.
  • Conduct investigations, disciplinary and grievance procedures as required.
  • Attend weekly stakeholder meetings with the client’s leadership team.
  • Deliver a professional, calm and proactive image of the company.
  • Adapt working arrangements during peak periods, bank holidays and colleague absences.
Requirements
  • Experience building effective client relationships at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver results.
  • Experience with reporting and forecasting tools.
  • Strong people‑management skills and a challenge‑seeking mindset.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and client‑facing skills.
  • Self‑driven, proactive, results‑oriented with a positive outlook.
  • Good judgement, initiative and sound decision‑making.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong leadership and teamwork motivation.

  • Ability to handle a busy workload, meet tight deadlines and prioritise.
