Job summary

FDO Consulting Limited is hiring a Data Engineer to design and deliver enterprise data solutions on Microsoft platforms with a strong on-prem emphasis. The role requires commuting options to Marlow, Buckinghamshire, or Canary Wharf, London, with most work on-prem.

You will operate in a regulated environment (ideally financial services) and work within a team to implement data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and BI reporting using SQL Server stack and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering and BI in a regulated environment (ideally financial services).
• Strong on-prem skills with some cloud knowledge.
• Experience delivering enterprise data solutions on Microsoft platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality enterprise level data solutions on Microsoft platforms.
• Work closely with architects and senior data engineers.
• Contribute to agile events.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Create technical documentation and release notes.
• Conduct testing prior to release.
