Job summary

Opaa! Food Management is seeking kitchen staff to support daily food preparation and serving operations. You will assist with setup of serving lines, prep dishes per the menu and Opaa! recipes, and ensure food is held at proper temperatures

The role emphasizes compliance with HACCP, safety procedures, and clean, organized workspaces. You will operate common kitchen equipment, manage FIFO inventories, and assist in dishwashing and related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience or training.
• Standing for long periods and ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Follow HACCP and safety procedures to ensure food safety.
• Ability to read, follow menus and recipes and prep accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and ensure food is held at required temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu and Opaa! recipes; batch cook as needed.
• Operate food prep equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper FIFO inventory.
• Assist in dishwashing area and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas.
