Job summary

First Military Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Engineer (Electrical) to commission, maintain and repair power protection products across client sites. The role requires flexibility, travel countrywide and occasional nights away, with a 24/7 on-call element and potential travel to Europe.

The ideal candidate holds an ONC/HNC/HND or equivalent in Electronic/Electrical engineering, can read electrical schematics, and has strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum ONC/HNC/HND in Electronic/Electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of regulators and logic control systems, rotating machines, power rectifiers and inverter drives is advantageous.
• Willing to travel nationwide and occasionally to Europe; nights away may be required.
• Must hold a clean UK driving licence and be a British citizen.

Responsibilities

• Commission, maintain, repair and occasionally modify power protection products.
• Travel to sites with required tools, spares and equipment to complete tasks.
• Respond to on-site duties and adhere to schedules and safety requirements.
• Support on-call service with 24/7 availability, including nights when needed.
