Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Doctor in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery to join the Exeter-based team. The role involves independent clinical sessions, with work split between new referrals and follow-up clinics, and procedures under LA, IV Sedation and GA, in-patient or day cases.

Completion of Oral Surgery Specialist Training and registration on the Specialist Oral Surgery List are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of Oral Surgery Specialist Training and registration on the Specialist Oral Surgery List is essential.
• There is a 1:6 overnight and weekend second on-call commitment attached to this post.

Responsabilités

• Undertake a number of clinical sessions per week independently and according to service needs.
• Work across new referral and follow-up clinics with treatments under Local Anaesthetic, Intravenous Sedation and General Anaesthetic.
• Work under the supervision of five Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
