SSE Renewables is seeking an Offshore Wind & Renewable Energy Analyst to shape project design and investment decisions through advanced analysis. You will analyse wind resources, model layouts, and support decisions across our global offshore wind portfolio from development to delivery.
The role involves developing tools in Python/Matlab, conducting wake modelling and energy yield assessments, and contributing to metocean studies.
Base Location:You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations Aberdeen, Glasgow, Dublin, Belfast, Perth or Readingwhilstother SSER locations can be considered.

This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of offshore wind development, influencing the performance, viability and long-term success of major renewable energy projects from the earliest stages of development through to delivery.
You’ll also have opportunities to contribute to metocean studies, operational asset performance analysis, wind measurement campaigns, noise assessments and innovative solutions that support the continued growth of SSE Renewables' global portfolio.
