Job summary

Vertage Inc. is seeking an experienced SCADA & Telecommunications Engineer to support offshore wind construction projects in the UK.

The role covers installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of SCADA and telecoms infrastructure across offshore assets. The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience in offshore renewables, utilities, or similar large-scale energy projects, with a strong focus on industrial Ethernet networks, LTE/wireless systems, fibre

Qualifications

Proven experience with SCADA in offshore wind, renewables, or utilities.
Strong background in industrial telecoms and networks.
Experience commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting SCADA/telecoms infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for SCADA, telecoms, and industrial networks offshore.
Monitor daily offshore activity progress and report findings.
Participate in commissioning meetings and review RAMS, WMS, ITPs, ITRs.
Plan telecoms and SCADA punch-list activities and remediation works.
Witness contractor testing and verification activities during commissioning.
Coordinate with engineering, commissioning, construction, and IT teams to resolve issues.
Support installation and integration of LTE, wireless, and TETRA networks offshore.
Configure, test, and troubleshoot industrial switches and communication equipment.
Manage spare equipment and materials for telecoms and networks.
