Job summary

V.Group seeks a Mechanical Technician (Offshore) for a contract role aboard a Floating Production Storage & Offloading Facility. The position is shipboard, reporting to the Engine department and involves hands-on mechanical maintenance in a marine offshore environment.

The candidate should have 3+ years offshore experience, knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems, and familiarity with PTW, mechanical isolation, and risk assessments. ENG 1 or equivalent medical fitness is required.

Qualifications

• 3 yrs experience desired with offshore experience preferred.
• Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities.
• Good experience of Permit to Work, Mechanical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment.
• Medically fit to offshore international standards such as ENG 1 or equivalent.
• Proven experience and/or qualified to N/SVQ/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or local equivalent.
