Job summary

CB&I in the United Kingdom is seeking an Offshore Deck Crew professional (LOLER CP) for a 2/3 rotation on the Neo Next GP3, on a 12-month FTC. You will lead lifting operations, develop lifting plans, and ensure safe, compliant site activities offshore.

The role requires extensive offshore lifting competence, OPITO qualifications, and the ability to coordinate logistics and support services while adhering to CB&I values and HS&E standards.

Qualifications

• OPITO Rigger competence required.
• OPITO Banksman and Slinger competence required.
• Working at height training/Unit PPE user required.
• Offshore lifting operations experience essential.
• Evidence of lifting gear planning and safe operation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all deck and lifting operations comply with lifting plans and RRUK standards.
• Provide Site Lifting Focal Point support; assist stores and materials.
• Coordinate safe logistics and on-site support in line with legislation.
• Live CB&I values in daily duties.
• Develop lifting plans for routine and complex lifts.
• Operate and select suitable rigging equipment and certified lifting gear.
• Support crane operations, shipping, and standby vessel activities.
• Assist scaffolding team and ensure effective handovers at shift changes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and cost/time efficiency without compromising safety.
• Maintain compliance with HS&E policies and ISSOW requirements.
• Participate in competency schemes and multi-skilled role development.
