Overview

We are looking for a Project Engineer to work on offshore and onshore operations, focusing on decommissioning, fabrication, and resource management. This professional will be responsible for coordinating critical activities, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with deadlines and cost targets.

Work Location : Angola (with availability for travel and offshore assignments)

Contract Type : Temporary

Responsibilities
  • Direct activities related to decommissioning, fabrication, testing, surveying, and mobilization / demobilization.
  • Manage offshore resources, assign scopes of work, and ensure personnel competency.
  • Coordinate brownfield decommissioning and onshore/offshore fabrication deliverables.
  • Oversee third‑party contractors, approve deliverables, and ensure compliance with project targets.
  • Control budgets, man‑hours, and materials while optimizing cost and schedule performance.
  • Enforce QHSE standards, permit‑to‑work systems, and incident reporting.
  • Provide accurate progress reporting, KPI tracking, and maintain strong client/stakeholder communication.
  • Drive resolution of non‑conformances through corrective and preventive actions.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical, Naval, Production, Petroleum Engineering. (Postgraduate studies or certifications in Project Management, QHSE, or Offshore Inspection will be considered an advantage.)
  • Proven experience in offshore projects and decommissioning/fabrication management.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese (mandatory).
  • Strong skills in cost control, scheduling, and performance indicators.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in multicultural environments and international projects.
  • Knowledge of API, ASME standards and offshore regulations.
