White Horse Employment are working exclusively with a well-established business in the fuel distribution and logistics sector to recruit an Office Supervisor for their busy depot in Farrington Gurney.

This is a hands‑on leadership role overseeing the day‑to‑day running of the customer service and administration team. You’ll be responsible for coordinating workloads, maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring efficient communication across departments. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone with proven supervisory experience who thrives in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily office and customer service operations.

  • Allocate tasks and manage team workloads to ensure smooth workflow.

  • Maintain excellent customer service standards across calls, emails, and order processing.

  • Ensure all orders, payments, and customer information are processed accurately and efficiently.

  • Act as an escalation point for customer queries, ensuring swift resolution.

  • Collaborate with transport and credit control teams to prioritise urgent orders and manage account holds.

  • Conduct regular 1‑to‑1s, support staff development, and manage rotas.

  • Foster a positive team culture and encourage continuous improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, GDPR, and HMRC regulations.

  • Manage office stock, supplies, and general administration.

About You
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience (essential).

  • Background in customer service, operations, or administrative management.

  • Confident communicator with strong people management skills.

  • Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively under pressure.

  • Skilled in delegation, coaching, and team motivation.

  • IT proficient with strong attention to accuracy and detail.

  • A proactive problem solver with a hands‑on approach.
