Job description

A global beauty retailer is looking to recruit for an office manager to oversee all front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operations for its global head office. This beauty retailer focuses on holistic, scientifically backed products, utilizing natural ingredients and aromatherapy. They have a global footprint and are currently expanding its portfolio of standalone stores, both in the UK and abroad. The company has recently appointed a new chief people officer who is looking to transform the approach to HR by creating new centres of excellence to elevate the people agenda to new heights.

The role will see you taking responsibility for running office operations, including health and safety management, for an office population of around 150 people. You’ll take ownership of the guest/visitor experience and will look to elevate it, so it feels as though you are visiting a spa. You’ll be responsible for vendor and supplier management and will manage a receptionist. This is a luxury retail head office environment, so you’ll have the opportunity to be the face of the brand, be involved in events and activations, and work closely with senior leadership. You will also be part of the social committee in a supportive and people‑focused culture.

The ideal candidate will have gained experience in office management in a commercially focused environment. It would be an ideal step for someone working in a centre‑coordinator role, who works in commercial office space, to step into a management role. It could also suit someone from a health club or spa background who is responsible for managing the front‑of‑house operation in this type of environment.

In return, the salary on offer is a competitive one up to £40,000 per year, depending on experience. The role is based in Central London, close to the West End. You will have the chance to work with a growing but very dynamic team. This role allows you to have a significant impact in the growth and development of a globally known, luxury beauty retailer.
