Office Manager



Salary: £40-50k depending on experience



Location: Tower Bridge, London with travel to the Brighton office twice a month



Hours: 37.5 hours a week


This role will be full time office based

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of the London and Brighton offices of a successful and growing consultancy company. This role is integral to maintaining a smooth operational environment while supporting various company functions. The Office Manager will handle a diverse range of responsibilities including human resources administration, recruitment support, quality management, health and safety compliance, and supplier management.



Key Responsibilities


Office Management



  • Ensure the efficient operation of both offices

  • Coordinate supplies, IT support, utilities, and maintenance services


Manage bookings for company vehicles and address any related disputes or fines



  • Organise company meetings, events, and onboarding logistics for new starters

  • Coordinate renewal of business insurances and manage supplier relationships


HR & People Administration



  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation

  • Oversee HR administration tasks including leave management and performance records.

  • Support recruitment

  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, and manage employee benefits inquiries.


Quality & Audit Support



  • Assist in maintaining ISO 9001 and 14001 documentation

  • Provide administrative support for audits, including scheduling and documentation updates

  • Document control


Health & Safety



  • Maintain H&S records, training logs, and risk assessments, ensuring office safety checks are conducted.



Requirements:



  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar administrative role

  • Strong organisational skills and a solutions-focused

  • Knowledge of GDPR and HR compliance is beneficial

  • Experience in supplier management and negotiation is beneficial

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Experience using AI in a business setting



Desirable:



  • Familiarity with ISO management systems (9001 and 14001)

  • HR qualification (e.g., CIPD Level 3 or equivalent)

  • Previous experience supporting audits or quality compliance
