Office Manager - Busy Bees Burntwood Head Office
Location: Burntwood, Staffordshire on site 5 days a week
Contract: Permanent, Full Time 35 hours per week
Salary: DOE
Reports to: People Director

Are you a highly organised and people-focused professional looking for your next step as an Office Manager? At Busy Bees, our National Support Centre in Burntwood is the heart of our UK operations. As Office Manager, you'll be the go-to person for ensuring our office runs smoothly, our visitors feel welcome, and our senior leadership team is supported every step of the way. This is a role where no two days are the same, from managing facilities and events to being the first friendly face our guests meet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist all staff, visitors, and contractors with professionalism and warmth.
  • Oversee the office enquiries line and manage day-to-day front-of-house operations.
  • Manage the meeting room booking system to ensure smooth usage of space.
  • Organise refreshments, lunches, and supplies for meetings and training sessions.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including special deliveries.
  • Keep the office environment organised, clutter-free, and visually professional.
  • Coordinate events such as buffets, office celebrations, and our annual Christmas party.
  • Support internal charity initiatives and gifting programmes.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for the Senior Management and Executive teams.
  • Maintain office archiving and storage systems, both online and physical.
  • Provide proactive administrative/PA support to the European CEO.
  • Prepare and format reports, presentations, and internal documents.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, PA, or Executive Assistant in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Professional, approachable, and capable of building great relationships across all levels.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and general administrative tools.
  • A positive, proactive attitude – always one step ahead.
  • Calm, flexible, and resourceful under pressure.
