Location: Ipswich

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE

Standard Hours: 45 hr 07:30 - 17:00

Type of Employment: Full Time, Permanent

Introduction:

Exciting opportunity to join our growing team in our new office located in Ipswich, EPPH are looking for an experienced, enthusiast and highly motivated individual to become our Office & Fleet Manager joining our already very successful team.

Role Overview

The Office & Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing both the efficient management of 60+ company vehicles and the smooth running of office administration. This dual role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance operational logistics with administrative support.

Responsibilities:
  • Fleet management of 60+ vehicles.
  • Schedule, monitor, and track vehicle usage to ensure optimal efficiency
  • Coordinate with internal departments to meet operational transport needs.
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly serviced, licensed, and inspected.
  • Ordering company vehicles, liaising with lease and insurance companies
  • Booking regular services and MOT's, general vehicle maintenance
  • Oversee delivery /Ordering and return of all vehicles
  • Identify opportunities to reduce expenses and improve cost efficiency
  • Maintain accurate fleet records (vehicle history, repairs, mileage, fuel usage, etc.)
Administration:
  • Updating all certificates and company accreditations
  • Booking Health and Safety courses & Training courses, ensuring all engineers have the appropriate legal documentation
  • Keeping and maintaining a detailed inventory of in-house stock and company owned materials
  • Running of office generally / Assisting with cleaning on occasion
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls to the appropriate departments
  • Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, providing accurate information or redirecting to the correct department.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information
  • Review and verify staff timesheets for accuracy and completeness
  • Managing of uniform ordering & office supplies
Required qualifications / Expectations / Experience:
  • Experience managing large vehicle fleets
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Knowledge of telematics/GPS tracking systems.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and reduce operational costs
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
