Overview

The Yard is an award-winning charity that runs adventure play services for children with disabilities and/or additional support needs and their families.

Role

We are looking for a warm, friendly personality to cover reception, support with the day-to-day management of our membership system and provide administrative support to our Office & Facilities Manager.

Position

Position: Office & Facilities Administrator
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £18,636 per annum (£12.80 per hour – annual full time equivalent salary £24,627)
Hours: 28 hours per week

Responsibilities

As our Office & Facilities Administrator, you will provide front-of-house support at The Yard Edinburgh. While also providing support to our Office & Facilities Manager in managing our membership database, health & safety processes and tracking of centre maintenance.

Qualifications
  • Experience of office administration and/or customer service
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of data management & IT systems
  • Ability to relate well to all visitors, including children with disabilities
  • Ability to work well in a team, with fellow employees and volunteers, as well as on own initiative
