Ernest Gordon Recruitment is supporting a Billingham-based manufacturer in recruitment for a Structural Design Engineer (Structural Steel). The role focuses on autonomous design of structural steelwork, ensuring compliance with British/European standards, and mentoring junior engineers.

You will design with Tekla Structures, perform calculations in MasterSeries and S-Frame, and work a 37.5-hour week with flexible start and finish times, Office based and with clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Structural Design Engineer or similar with structural steel background.
• Structural steel design experience.
• Able to commute to Billingham.

Responsibilities

• Design structural steelwork using Tekla Structures.
• Produce structural calculations and ensure compliance with British and European standards.
• Monday-Friday, 37.5-hour week with flexible start and finish times.
• Support and mentor junior Design Engineers.
