Job summary

A leading UK manufacturer of bespoke timber products seeks an organized individual for a sales support role in Bolton. You will be responsible for creating quotations, managing invoices, and liaising with clients and suppliers. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a good knowledge of Microsoft Office, and experience with Xero. Offering a salary range of £27k-£30k based on experience and excellent perks including healthcare. This office-based position is part of a growing team.

Qualifications

  • Experience of using Xero preferred.

  • GCSE level in Maths, Science & English is required.

  • Creating and formatting quotations.

  • Following up sales quotes and overdue invoices.
  • Updating the CRM system and accounting software.
  • Answering the telephone and greeting guests.

The company is the market leader in the UK for the manufacture and installation of bespoke timber handrails & balustrade. We offer a very specialist product to luxury homes and have worked on projects including the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace.

Their multi-award-winning team work together from our factory in Bolton and work throughout the UK.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting sales, contracts and accounts functions as the company continues to grow. Office based role which would suit an enthusiastic and organised individual, working as part of a small team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of activities, including:

  • Creating and formatting quotations
  • Issuing invoices and liaising with customers
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Following up sales quotes, overdue invoices and deliveries
  • Updating CRM system and accounting software (Xero)
  • Answering the telephone / greeting guests
Skills
  • Confident on the phone
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and schedule
  • Excellent presentation / communication skills
  • Experience of using Xero preferred
  • Understanding of reading drawings / construction helpful
Training

Training can be given if required.

Education

  • 40 hours per week, office based
