Role Overview

The Office Administrator will provide efficient and professional administrative support to the Lancashire Cricket Foundation team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of the Foundation’s operations, supporting programme delivery, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating communication between staff, partners, and stakeholders. The operational management of the systems and tracking of programme delivery will be supported by this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate across the Foundation and Lancashire Cricket team to coordinate projects, meetings, and internal communications.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Managing Director, Senior Operations Manager, and wider Foundation team.
  • Manage day‑to‑day operations, including emails, calls, post, records, and databases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Take ownership of tasks and deadlines, consistently delivering high‑quality, reliable work.
  • Act as a welcoming first point of contact for diverse communities, schools, and partners.
  • Support inclusive projects and events that use cricket to engage and inspire people of all backgrounds and abilities.
  • Uphold professionalism and confidentiality, assisting with staff onboarding, supplier relations, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Contribute ideas to improve systems and processes, showing initiative and adaptability to change.
  • Maintain high professional standards; promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all activities.
  • Work flexibly, attend events as needed, follow all policies and training requirements, and engage in ongoing personal development.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
  • Proven experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and confident using digital systems including Monday.com and Cvent.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Commitment to the values and mission of the Lancashire Cricket Foundation.
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience working in a charity, community, or sports organisation.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and data protection requirements.
  • Knowledge of CRM or project management software.
  • Interest in cricket or community sport.
