The Role

As the first point of contact for parents, students, and visitors, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. You ll provide professional administrative support to staff and senior leaders, manage correspondence, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front-of-house reception duties and respond to general enquiries.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and post.
  • Maintain student records and assist with attendance and admissions administration.
  • Support the preparation of reports, letters, and school documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and school events as required.
  • Ensure a welcoming and professional environment for all visitors.
About You
  • Previous administrative experience (school environment desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office and school management systems (SIMS/Arbor preferred).
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • A friendly, approachable manner and commitment to confidentiality.
