Overview

Off-Site One-to-One Humanities Tutors required. Start Date: January 2026. Contract: Part-time or Full-time (until end of academic year). Location: Various off-site settings; access to a car desirable. Pay: Up to Classroom Teacher Pay Scale (for qualified teachers). Right to Work: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; no sponsorship available.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver tailored one-to-one sessions in Humanities (other subjects considered).
  • Support learners across a range of abilities and needs, adapting teaching approaches accordingly.
  • Plan engaging lessons aligned with each student\'s individual learning plan.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and progress.
  • Work collaboratively with schools, families, and other professionals to support consistent learning outcomes.
About You
  • Ideally a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS); however, applicants with a strong tutoring or mentoring background will also be considered.
  • Experience working with SEND would be advantageous.
  • Flexible, empathetic, and patient, with the ability to build strong relationships with students.
  • Access to a car would be an advantage unless already based locally.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
