Job summary

Rimac Energy in Witney, Oxfordshire, UK is seeking a Programme Manager to own a strategic OEM delivery initiative from concept through to initial production on a roughly two-year horizon. The role reports to the Head of Programme Management & Supply Chain and aims to become a standalone business unit.

You will identify and select partners for battery modules, contract manufacturing and EMS, negotiate major agreements, and coordinate cross-disciplinary integration and certification

Qualifications

• 10+ years in programme or NPI leadership in energy storage, power electronics, automotive or similar complex hardware.
• Experience taking a physical product concept to start of production.
• Led supplier selection from RFI to award and negotiated major supply/manufacturing agreements.
• Experience with contract manufacturers or outsourced manufacturing.
• Understanding of cost, tooling, NRE and pricing mechanisms.
• Experience with product certification/homologation and design freezes.

Responsibilities

• Own the programme end to end from product definition to first production units over ~2 years.
• Lead partner identification and selection for battery modules, contract manufacturing and EMS.
• Negotiate module supply, CM services and EMS agreements with legal and finance.
• Coordinate product integration across mechanical, electrical, thermal, safety, controls and serviceability; establish change control across partners.
• Own certification roadmap for the integrated product (UL, IEC, NFPA, CE/UKCA as applicable).
• Drive industrialisation, prototype/pilot builds, ramp readiness and first deployments.
• Build the business case, governance, executive reporting, and hire/shape initial team as programme matures.
