Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 12 months NHS or relevant UK experience specifically within anaesthetic departments.
Credentials: HCPC or NMC registration is required.

Responsibilities

Lead preparation and monitoring of patients undergoing general, regional, or local anaesthesia, ensuring physiological safety.
Manage anaesthetic workstations, difficult airway trolleys, and invasive monitoring equipment; assist with intubations and venous access.
Uphold WHO Surgical Safety Checklists and HCPC/NMC standards to maintain a sterile, high-standard clinical environment.
Coordinate with surgical scrub and recovery teams for smooth list turnover and patient care.
