Odoo Business Systems Software Developer (UK)

Our client are looking to expand and are looking for a Business Systems Software Developer to help build and improve their internal systems. You will be working with Odoo ERP/MRP platform to develop custom functionality, streamline their in-house manufacturing and business processes, and support the team with software solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Build new modules and features in ERP/MRP system
• Map out and deliver software to automate and improve business workflows
• Write clean, maintainable code in Python and JavaScript
• Collaborate with different departments to gather requirements and identify improvement opportunities
• Take part in code reviews, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting
• Provide internal technical support as needed

Who You Are

• Comfortable coding in Python and JavaScript
• Familiar with relational databases, client/server models, and basic data concepts
• A logical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• A good communicator and team player

Nice to Have

• Experienced in ERP or MRP systems (Odoo is a plus)
• Knowledge of other web-languages (PHP, C#, etc.)
• Experience with SQL or data query tools (PowerQuery, ODBC, etc.)
• Familiarity with version-control systems like Git
• Previous exposure to manufacturing or business processes
