Ocean Freight Coordinator - South Manchester

£28,500-£33,000 per annum

About the Employer

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily import/export operations for Manchester‑based clients.
  • Prepare and submit Customs entries.
  • Liaise with clients regarding documentation, deliveries, and charges.
  • Provide quotations and respond to inquiries professionally.
  • Use CargoWise 1 (CW1) to load jobs and monitor ETAs.
  • Handle account management, invoicing, and documentation including PODs and C88s.
  • Coordinate with branch offices and warehouse teams.
  • Support the Branch Manager with additional tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
  • A confident telephone manner and strong customer service skills.
  • Clear and professional communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CargoWise experience is a plus.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of HMRC Entry Software, Tariffs, and Port Inventory Systems is advantageous.
