Occupational Therapy Team Lead (Medicine) – Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust

We are seeking a dynamic and forward‑thinking Occupational Therapist to lead our Medicine team at Wexham Park Hospital.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and facilitate the Medical Occupational Therapy Service with a focus on developing a competent, knowledgeable workforce.
  • Provide high‑quality, person‑centred, evidence‑based clinical care.
  • Mentor and support clinical staff, ensuring a high level of clinical and leadership excellence.
  • Collaborate with clinical specialist band 7 OT in surgery and other peer teams to drive service improvement and capacity.
Candidate profile
  • Experienced in acute/medicine settings and comfortable leading a fast‑paced, pressured team.
  • Passionate about delivering top‑class patient care and believing every day matters.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a drive to develop workforce for future challenges.
  • Ability to think creatively, challenge the status quo, and lead change within the organisation.
  • Willingness to work across specialties such as respiratory, cardiology and older‑person medicine.
