Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and forward-thinking Occupational Therapy Team Lead to join our Medicine team at Wexham Park Hospital. This role is aimed at leading a fast-paced, forward-thinking team to enhance flow and provide high-quality, person-centred care in an acute hospital setting.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and facilitate the Medical Occupational Therapy Service with a focus on developing a competent, knowledgeable workforce capable of delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
  • Work in collaboration with the clinical specialist band 7 OT in surgery as part of the team lead role.
  • Develop and support a robust, motivated, and skilled workforce within the medical directorate (specialities include respiratory, cardiology, older persons medicine and others).
  • Lead a team to adapt to current unprecedented challenges by exploring new ways of working to improve patient flow and service provision.
