Job summary

Coventry University invites applications for an Assistant Professor (Teaching) in Occupational Therapy to join the CUHC Occupational Therapy team. The role focuses on developing reflective, compassionate, and highly skilled therapists while supporting excellence in education and supervision across pre-registration and apprenticeship routes.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as an occupational therapist is required.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake one is required.
• Experience delivering occupational therapy education at HE level or apprenticeship is expected.
• PhD is preferred.
• Active membership of a professional body is expected.

Responsibilities

• Course leadership and coordination across modules/courses.
• Lead curriculum design, development and assessment in occupational therapy education.
• Deliver teaching on HE modules (levels 4-7) and apprenticeships; lead teaching teams.
• Oversee moderation and quality assurance of assessments.
• Line management and stakeholder liaison with employers and practice partners.
