An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Therapy Team in Ysbyty Cwm Cynon Hospital. We are looking for a skilled, organised and enthusiastic individual to join our established and friendly team. You will be required to work alongside the Occupational Therapists to support the delivery of rehabilitation and ongoing Occupational Therapy intervention.

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside Occupational Therapists to deliver rehabilitation and ongoing OT intervention.
  • Undertake specific clinical and administrative tasks and implement intervention programmes as instructed and delegated by OT.
  • Provide care to patients as delegated by OT to the extent of your competency.
  • Participate in project work, audits and provide relevant statistics for the benefit of patients or the OT department.
  • Monitor stocks of equipment and ensure appropriate supplies are ordered.
  • Respond flexibly to the needs of the service as part of the therapy team.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Excellent time‑management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This does not mean essential; while the candidate does not need to have skills in Welsh, we consider it an advantage when short‑listing and selecting candidates. It is not fluency, just speaking & listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health.
