An NHS Foundation Trust seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioner to join their community team. We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our Integrated Community Occupational Therapy Team as an Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioner. You will work as part of our team of experienced Health and Adult Social Care Occupational Therapists, Assistant Practitioners and Assistants to assess and treat adults with a range of conditions within their own homes. You will be supported by the wider North Occupational Therapy Team and will work under the direction and supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist. You will be expected to work under your own initiative to manage a non‑complex caseload of community patients appropriate to the role.

The role is 30 hours per week; we may be able to offer some flexibility in line with the requirements of the service. You will be required to travel independently and efficiently over a large geographical area to meet the requirements of the role.
As an OT Assistant Practitioner under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist you will be expected to work on your own and as part of a team focusing on excellent quality patient care, including formulating treatment goals and identifying rehabilitation plans.
