Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support interventions for older adults with mental health needs within the Day Treatment Team across Thurrock and Essex sites. You will screen for groups and assist with Cognitive Stimulation Therapy and Living Well With Dementia activities.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, receive regular supervision, and participate in CPD meetings to support your learning and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in older adult mental health settings is desirable.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team across multiple sites.

Responsabilités

• Support the Day Treatment Team in delivering interventions for older adults with mental health needs.
• Screen and assess suitability of service users for therapeutic groups.
• Assist with weekly Cognitive Stimulation Therapy and Living Well with Dementia groups.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary Day Treatment Team across different sites.
• Attend supervision and team meetings to support learning and development.
