Locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist within Stroke in Hull UK, offering up to £26 per hour on an hourly basis. This position offers an ongoing contract with full-time hours. What you will do:
  • Assess and plan bespoke programmes to aid stroke patients’ rehabilitation in their community settings
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ independence and quality of life
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care
  • Regularly review and adapt patient care plans to meet evolving needs
  • Document patient progress using SystmOne or other systems
  • Provide education and advice to patients and their families to support recovery
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration is essential to practice as an Occupational Therapist
  • UK-qualified experience in Occupational Therapy, preferably with expertise in stroke recovery
  • A degree and postgraduate qualification with a minimum of 3 years preferred, though not essential
  • Community-based stroke experience is highly desirable
  • Must be a car driver with your own vehicle, ready to cover areas across Hull and East Riding
