Sanctuary Personnel is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Social Services team in Oxford. This locum role offers flexible Full Time/Part Time hours and an ongoing assignment in a city renowned for its history and academic excellence.

You will assess, plan and coordinate care within Adult Social Care settings, delivering person-centred support with HCPC registration and CPD requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy recognised by the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
• Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to Adult Social Care practice.
• Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify functional needs, risks, and opportunities to maximise independence.
• Recommend and arrange appropriate equipment, adaptations, assistive technology, and moving and handling solutions.
• Complete assessments and reviews in accordance with the Care Act 2014 and relevant Adult Social Care legislation.
• Work collaboratively with social workers, NHS professionals, housing providers, carers, and community organisations to coordinate support plans.
