Job summary

Surrey County Council is seeking a HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist to join a social care MDT, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and sensory impairments. You will conduct person-centred OT assessments and apply relevant legislation.

Role may involve travel across a wide geographical area and requires an enhanced DBS check. This is a TUPE-transfer role from Surrey County Council in the context of local government reorganisation.

Qualifications

• Background in occupational therapy in a social care setting.
• Experience with learning disabilities, autism or sensory impairments.
• Ability to perform person-centred OT assessments.
• Familiarity with moving and handling equipment.
• Understanding of the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act.
