About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and reviews to identify and recommend suitable housing adaptations for clients with disabilities.
  • Manage applications for Disabled Facilities Grants, ensuring all recommendations comply with relevant legislation and local policies.
  • Develop and provide detailed adaptation plans and specifications for contractors and technical staff.
  • Work collaboratively with builders, social care teams, and other professionals to ensure adaptations meet clients’ functional and accessibility needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all cases, ensuring compliance with data management standards.
  • Provide expert advice, support, and guidance to clients and their families throughout the adaptation process.
  • Manage your caseload efficiently while delivering a high standard of professional service.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • HCPC registration as a qualified Occupational Therapist.
