Job description
Overview

To manage a defined caseload of service users on a rotational basis, under the supervision of a Senior Occupational Therapist. The post holder will work as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team and in partnership with other agencies and services, in line with the Care Programme Approach to promote recovery and social inclusion. Rotations will include male and female acute inpatients, later life services, and community settings. This post may be considered Rotation if it is part of the candidate's continuing professional development and career prospects.

Role and Practice

To work across the AMHP 4 Pillars of Practice – Clinical Practice, Leadership, Education and Research. To apply person centred principles and evidence-based practice to assess, plan, implement and evaluate occupational therapy interventions. To carry out interventions in hospital and in the community including home visits.
