Job summary

Outcomes First Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the Manor House School team in West Sussex. You will deliver bespoke OT assessments and interventions for pupils with developmental trauma, neurodivergence, or SEMH needs, working within the OT Ways of Working.

You will manage an OT caseload with supervision and contribute to staff training while maintaining a person-centred approach to support pupils’ independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Recognised Occupational Therapy degree.
• Valid and up-to-date HCPC registration.
• Registered member of RCOT.
• Experience in providing OT in a similar setting preferred.
• Ability to work with neurodivergent pupils and those with SEMH needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention for pupils.
• Hold an OT caseload with support from clinical supervisor and site lead.
• Contribute to staff training and clinical consultation as required.
• Maintain a person-centred approach and safeguarding culture across settings.

Essential Criteria

• RecognisedOccupationalTherapy degree
• Valid and up to date HCPC Registration
• Registered member of RCOT
• Relevant experienceinproviding occupational therapy services within a similarsetting ispreferrable
• Previously engaged with peoplewhoare neurodivergent and/or experiencelearning difficultyand/or socio-emotional and mental health difficultiesin any setting, being able toevidencetransferrable skills
• Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and its practical applicationto support independence
• Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality preferred
• Ability to work independently,flexibleandconfident
• Clear and concise report writing skills
• Hold a full UK driving licence, with access to a car
• Interest insensory integration or sensory-informed practice(SI practitionertraining in progress or completed is preferrable, however not essential)
