Occupational Therapist – Clinical Specialist Neuro in Lancashire, £37,000 – £40,000 Annually

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist with a specialism in Clinical Specialist Neuro to join our team in the beautiful area of Lancashire. You will be working with a dedicated team at our specialist neurorehabilitation service. Located in Bury, Lancashire, our centre offers a supportive environment for individuals with acquired brain injuries, progressive neurological conditions, and associated physical health needs. This full-time, 37.5 hours per week,permanent position offers an exciting chance to work alongside experienced professionals and make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

What you will do:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will embrace a variety of responsibilities that are integral to patient care and recovery. You will:

  • Carry out comprehensive OT assessments to determine patient needs and plan tailored interventions for their rehabilitation journey.
  • Manage and coordinate individual OT treatment plans, facilitate group therapy sessions, and oversee unit programmes tailored to our patients’ unique needs.
  • Prepare detailed OT reports and actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate holistic patient care and treatment goals.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to Therapy Assistants, ensuring cohesive teamwork and optimal patient support.

What you will bring to the role:

You must be qualified and registered with the HCPC, boasting specialist skills and experience in handling brain injuries.
