A healthcare organization in Abingdon is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) to patients. This part-time role involves assessing patient needs, managing a caseload, and working within a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) to deliver holistic care. Ideal candidates will have a professional OT qualification and registration with HCPC. This is a part time role for 21 hours per week.
The Abingdon Emergency Multidisciplinary Unit (Abingdon EMU) provides Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) to patients in the community. We are a Multidisciplinary (MDT) consisting of doctors, nurses, paramedics, physios and occupational therapists aiming to provide holistic care to medically unwell patients in the community and avoid hospital admission.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team and help develop our service.
