Job summary

Outcomes First Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist for Manor House School in Horsham. The role focuses on holistic assessments and bespoke interventions within a friendly multidisciplinary educational setting.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required. The position offers 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, in a permanent contract with term-time considerations.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration required and eligible for RCSLT/RCOT
• Experience working with children and/or adults with intellectual disabilities or autism preferred
• Awareness of sensory integration or sensory regulation approaches beneficial
• Ability to collaborate effectively with partners and staff

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic OT assessments and bespoke interventions
• Prepare reports and sensory profiles for students
• Provide training and information to staff, commissioners and agencies as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team (Psychology, SLT, therapy assistants)

• Salary: Up to £53,200 FTE, DOE

About the Role

As an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist at Manor House School, you will:

• Implement a holistic, therapeutic, and dynamic approach to support our students in their daily lives.
• Conduct standardised and non-standardised assessments, bespoke interventions, and prepare relevant documentation, including reports and sensory profiles.
• Provide training and information to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as needed.
• Collaborate with a well-established multidisciplinary therapy team, including Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, and therapy assistants.

Essential Criteria

• Registered with the HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT
