A social care organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to deliver support to individuals with disabilities. In the Occupational Therapist role, you will be:
Delivering direct Occupational Therapy support to people with disabilities.
Working with parents, carers and families to develop resilience and promote independence.
Completing screening assessments and making recommendations for appropriate interventions.
Carrying out safeguarding activity where required.
Ensuring individuals and their families are at the centre of decision-making about their care and desired outcomes.
To be successful, you will need:
A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification (minimum 3 years post-qualified).
Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Experience in manual handling and relevant training.
Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in technology and relevant software systems.
This is a temporary role for initially 12 weeks, working part time, 23 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
You'll have a hybrid model of working based between Coed Pella, Colwyn Bay and home (following initial training). You'll be starting on a salary of £20.48 per hour plus benefits including weekly pay and holiday accrual.
