A healthcare provider in Oxford is looking for a full-time Occupational Therapist to join the Wintle ward team. The role involves providing high-quality, client-centred care to adults facing mental health challenges. There is an opportunity to join the Wintle ward team in Oxford as a full time Occupational Therapist working with adults who are experiencing mental health challenges.
In this role you will gain clinical experience as well as inpatient and community settings as well as be supported to develop your leadership and managerial skills to help with future career progression.
As an OT, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, client-centred care. You'll carry out initial assessments and provide short-term interventions, manage a complex caseload and develop evidence-based treatment plans. Working collaboratively with service users and their families, you'll set recovery-focused OT goals and ensure smooth transitions to other teams or services. You'll also provide leadership and supervision to junior staff and students, contribute to service development projects, and apply recognized models such as MOHO to guide assessments and interventions.
Alongside clinical duties you will be supported to gain experience and skills in leadership, research and quality improvement as well as other training relevant to your post.
