Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year professional registration with HCPC, NMC, GMC or Social Work England.
  • Minimum 1 year experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people.
  • Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations.
  • In‑depth knowledge of DSM‑5 diagnostic criteria for autism and ADHD.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as ADOS‑2, ADI‑R.
  • Effective time-management and caseload organisation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

  • Produce accurate, evidence‑based clinical reports.

Overview

Join Evolve Psychology at our Norwich Clinic as a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner. This hybrid role involves clinic-based and remote work, with full‑time or part‑time options (minimum three days per week). You will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality autism and ADHD assessments via NHS‑funded referrals and private pathways.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct face‑to‑face structured observations and remote developmental history interviews.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary diagnostic discussions and provide clear, compassionate feedback to families.
  • Produce accurate, evidence‑based clinical reports, including diagnostic formulations.
  • Work efficiently to meet service Key Performance Indicators.
  • Deliver clinical supervision where applicable.
  • Travel to the Norwich clinic base as required for in‑person assessments (hybrid only).
