Job summary

Pharmacyupdate in Solihull is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Adults Service. This community-based role focuses on rehabilitation and enabling independence for adults in the local area.

You will work in a hybrid model, combining home visits and office-based activity, across a 12-week contract with 37 hours per week.

Applicants should have at least 2 years PQE and be eligible to work in the UK; DBS check may be required.

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Adults Service in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated practitioner with a strong background in community-based adult social care and rehabilitation.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 2 years post-qualified experience (PQE).
• Experience in reablement services, supporting individuals to maximise independence.
• Proven experience in reviewing and reducing moving and handling requirements, including the implementation of single-handed care practices where appropriate.
• Ability to work effectively within the community, managing a varied caseload and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

You must have 2 years PQE

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975. As this role is eligible for an Enhanced DBS check, applicants are required to declare any cautions and convictions that are not protected under current filtering rules.
