Job summary

Outcomes First Group are recruiting an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house clinical team at Hillingdon Grange School. You will deliver bespoke OT assessments and interventions to students, working with a multidisciplinary education team to support independence and development.

You will manage your own caseload with clinical supervision, contribute to staff training, and be involved in safeguarding and CPD activities.

Qualifications

• Recognised OT degree and HCPC registration are essential.
• RCOT membership is preferred.
• Experience delivering OT in education settings or with children is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Hold an occupational therapy caseload within an education setting.
• Deliver bespoke OT assessment and intervention to students.
• Collaborate with education teams to support independence and development.
• Contribute to staff training and supervision as required.

Location:

Hillingdon Granges - comprising of Yiewsley Grange, Colne Grange, Upton Grange, This role will be predominantly based at Upton Grange, there may be requirements for the role to support other sites within the Hillingdon Granges sites from time to time.

Salary:

Up to £53,200DOE plus £5000 Welcome Bonus(Welcome Bonus is payable as one payment of £2,500 after completion of one month and one further payment of £2,500upon completion of your final probation period. T&C's Apply

Hours:

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am-16.30pm

Working collaboratively with theeducation team, you will deliver bespokeOccupational Therapyassessment and interventiontostudentswho may have experienceddevelopmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMHneeds.You will work within the standardsprovidedin theOFGOccupationalTherapy Ways of Working. Essential Criteria:

• Recognised Occupational Therapy degree
• Valid and up to date HCPC Registration
• Registered member of RCOT
• Relevant experienceinproviding occupational therapy services within a similarsetting ispreferrable
• Previously engaged with peoplewhoare neurodivergent and/or experiencelearning difficultyand/or socio-emotional and mental health difficultiesin any setting, being able toevidencetransferrable skills
• Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and its practical applicationto support independence
• Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality preferred
• Ability to work independently,flexibleandconfident
• Clear and concise report writing skills
• Interest insensory integration or sensory-informed practice(SI practitionertraining in progress or completed is preferrable, however not essential)
