West London NHS Trust is looking for a motivated Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic cross-trust rotation covering community services in rapid response, short term rehabilitation, falls, neuro rehab, dementia, home first, discharge hub, wheelchair services and mental health.

The role suits new graduates or those about to qualify, offering regular supervision, structured rotation training and a supportive team across boroughs in Hounslow.

Responsibilities

• To manage own caseload, assess plan and implement and evaluate interventions using evidence based/best practice, working towards patient centred goals in the context of the speciality and as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
• Band 5 Rotational OT role with regular supervision, preceptorship meetings, monthly OT meetings and rotation-specific training as part of the band 5 competency programme.

We are looking for a motivated and flexible occupational therapist to join an exciting cross trust rotation in West London covering community services in rapid response, short term rehabilitation, falls, neuro rehabilitation dementia, home first , discharge hub, wheelchair services and mental health.

This is an ideal opportunity for new graduates, those who are qualifying in the next 3 months or current Band 5 occupational therapists looking to build on their experience within a supportive, friendly environment. It will give you an excellent feel for how modern health care is delivered in different settings across the Borough of Hounslow.

Band 5 Rotational Occupational Therapists receive regular supervision with senior clinicians, Preceptorship meetings , monthly OT meeting and rotation specific training as part of the band 5 competency programme.

Each rotation is for 6 months however the post holder may be required to rotate at an earlier or later date depending on service need.
