Job summary

Service Care Solutions is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist for the Adult Social Care OT Service with Bath & North East Somerset Council. The role is based in Bath with hybrid working and requires HCPC registration and a UK driving licence.

You will support adults with complex disabilities to maintain independence at home, through assessments, equipment provision and adaptations, working within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist required.
• Significant Adult Social Care OT experience.
• Strong moving and handling and postural management skills.
• Experience with housing adaptations and Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs).
• Knowledge of the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Location: Bath, BA2 1RS

Rate: £38.29ph (Umbrella £30.00ph PAYE)

Contract: Initial 3 Months

Working Pattern: Hybrid, minimum 1 day per week in the office

This role involves supporting adults with complex physical disabilities and long-term conditions to maintain independence within their homes and local communities through specialist assessment, equipment provision and adaptation recommendations.

• Managing complex caseloads and working alongside multidisciplinary teams

Essential Requirements

• HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist
