A leading aerospace manufacturing company in Wolverhampton is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Health Technician to support workforce health initiatives. This role involves conducting health screenings, collaborating on health promotion, and advising on workplace safety. Ideal candidates will have a recognised qualification and experience in a similar role within an industrial setting. Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Up-to-date certification in HAVS1/2, Audiometry, and Spirometry.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace hazards and health surveillance requirements.

Are you passionate about promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Occupational Health Technician (OHT) to join our cutting‑edge aerospace manufacturing facility in Wolverhampton.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by supporting the health of our workforce and contributing to a high‑performing Occupational Health service. You’ll work closely with our Occupational Health Advisor (OHA) to deliver proactive, professional, and compassionate care across the site.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Conduct health surveillance, wellness screenings, and new starter assessments.
  • Support health promotion initiatives and collaborate with Mental Health First Aiders.
  • Assist with case management and escalating concerns appropriately.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and maintain accurate, confidential records.
  • Advise on ergonomic solutions, PPE, and safe systems of work.
  • Maintain health screening equipment and support clinical audits.
  • Provide data insights and support the development of Occupational Health services.
What We’re Looking For
To Thrive In This Role, You’ll Need
  • A recognised Occupational Health Technician qualification.
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Up-to-date certification in HAVS1/2, Audiometry, and Spirometry.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace hazards and health surveillance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Confidence working independently with guidance from the OHA.
  • IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and web‑based health screening tools (Amplivox, AudioBase desirable).
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to other UK sites (Luton, Reading).
